Crochet Creatures - Button Crow

Button crows are a special type of pest spirit known for their intelligence and obsessive personalities. Each button crow usually fixates on one particular trinket during its life and spends most of its days collecting that item. These objects can vary widely, such as keys, paper, coins, glass, brooches, and gems—the most common of these curios being buttons. When an object is chosen by the button crow, a magical pact of sorts is naturally formed between the creature and the bauble. This pact is non-verbal and unwritten and is instead willed into being by the crows' obsessive nature. When this occurs, the crow undergoes several physical changes, including the evolution of its eyes to match the likeness of its chosen trinket and a gradual shift in its diet, which forces it to consume the beloved objects it collects.
