Off the shores of the western coast, where the Gift of Shuritashi’s lush forest thins into the Land of Hot Water's sparse woodland, the vast ocean gives way to Obojima’s largest sister island, the Isle of Illumination. Once nearly destroyed, this remarkable isle is now home to spectacular magics, refined arts, and a deeply special relationship with the Spirit Realm—all of which stem from its dangerous encounter with a devastating inferno over three hundred years ago.
The Isle of Illumination is a 45-page digital supplement for the Obojima campaign setting. Explore an isle once devastated by supernatural wildfires that's now turned into its own realm of spirits and lore. From firefighting witches to flashlights that capture spirits to a whole new style of pumpkin-based magic, the world of Obojima just got bigger.

I absolutely love the whimsical charm of Obojima, and adding a Halloween-themed island to the setting is such a fun idea. It fits the overall vibe perfectly! There’s really not much else to say. It’s just a fantastic supplement all around. My only wish is that it were available on D&D Beyond as well.
I truly enjoyed this expansion to the wonderful world of Obojima! The lore is so interesting to me & my brother fell in love with the Circle of Pumpkins Druid so much that he created a new character to make use of the subclass. Overall this was awesome and I look forward to the future of Obojima!
This is an excellent addition to the setting. The vibe feels a little more focused than the main setting, which is appropriate for a much smaller island. Some of the lore has a nice nod to Halloween, but definitely without going overboard so you hear "This Is Halloween!" singing in your head. Definitely recommend for an addition to a campaign.
Isle of Illumination is exactly the kind of content I would look for in a smaller splatbook like this. So much flavor and enough content for each aspect of the game.
