I love this book (this 2014 version and the 2024 version). I'm playing the Petal Circle Druid now and loving it! The layout is easy to read, the images are adorable, and the entire vibe is so cozy! Highly recommended!

Masterful worldbuilding
Two favor sub classes and the potion crafting is amazing. I have also started a design for a Shinigami Summoner which will be a fighter or ranger sub class Protector Archetype (Soul Guardian) Utility Archetype (Spirit Walker) Attacker Archetype (Wraith Warrior) Protector: Early single-target healing (base Shinigami), later group heal (Soul Mend). Mitigation at level 6. Utility: Early Life Spark & Tech Tongue; mid-level Force Commands; capstone Firmware Update & optional Tech Overload. Optional Ghost Link adds scouting/control flexibility. Attacker: Deals escalating necrotic damage; area debuff (Deathly Presence); ultimate attack (Soul Rend). Immobilized Summoner: Still applies to all archetypes; strategic positioning is key.
So expansive and fun to read! Can't wait to start the campaign
The book is full of fun facts about this fantastical world and the artwork is adorable. I can't wait to try out all the subclasses and magic items! The pdf is full of vibrant color but is easy to read and loads pretty quickly.
I buy it in PDF version for my Boyfriend, and he absolutly eat it. Next weekend we have our first session. :) 100% happy with product 100% happy with design 150% happy with getting update version! Definitly tell about to my friends!

I love this setting so much! I found this wonderful book through YouTube shorts, and I have been obsessed ever since. I've started the podcast and listen daily, although, I am not looking forward to having to wait a week to hear your guys' amazing ideas! I'm so inspired by the writers that I can't stop thinking of ideas for running my own campaign. I will be a returning customer 100%, and my biggest regret is not finding this sooner before the Kickstarter was over. Whenever there is another one, I will back it immediately! Keep up the amazing work, and I am looking forward to more content!
The world is well built and the art is wonderful! I love how every character looks distinct with some "subtle" nods to Ghibli and Legend of Zelda. This little guy is my fave!

I will use it for my next campaign!!! I will take the potion system and create an off-session activity where the players can task their characters by grabbing fish or crafting some ingredients. On their return to the table, they will have options to get and brew potions.

Genuinely one of the best DND books I've ever opened (7 year perma dm) The blocky topographic map is downright adorable and the perfect intro for the rest. The book itself is just cute cute CYUTE and the "vague lore explained for DMs" section has me actually saying I might not buy a DND book without such a section ever again. I can't wait to play this setting with my anime nerd friends who have been on the fence about DND because this has convinced them to throw rocks and do math with me!
I love the setting for Obojima, which is a combination of one of my favorite classic DnD settings (Oriental Adventures) paired with a Studio Ghibli + 1980's vibe. The pdf is beautiful and full of incredible artwork with a Miyazaki tone and it includes everything you'd need to play, such as new character classes, skills, spells, races, equipment, a robust bestiary, and even 3 full adventures. But the best part of all this is the incredible attention to world building, with chapters full of local details, important NPCs, history, and story hooks. I also really loved the hundreds of ingredients you'll find in Obojima and the fun recipe system for brewing hundreds of potions. I'm DMing my first game with friends tomorrow, and we're all very excited to explore this new world!
I have enjoyed getting to make characters with this book and plan to have a campaign set in this world soon!

So far I’m really loving the setting! Even though we are only using the potion crafting system and my players love it. Wish I would have known that a few days after I bought it that it was coming to dnd beyond because I would have loved to buy it there lol but it’s whatever. It’s a wonderfully colorful book and I will love running the campaign setting.
Very whimsical and full of adventure! Obojima has shown up at one of the darkest points in my life and makes me feel like a child again. Playing Zelda and watching Ghibli is something that I have passed down to my children and now a game we can play together no matter what happens. Thank you 1985 and thank you Obojima writers and creators!
I'm such a huge fan of the world that's built into Obojima! The Dara and Nakudama are such an amazing addition to the species list! The aesthetic of the world is whimsical, mysterious, and has plenty of elements to make an easy-going campaign or one with riddled with serious undertones.

Everything is wonderful—I just hope a reissue of the pdf will be released with spelling & grammar corrections! I was initially frustrated that we couldn't be told that Obojima would be releasing on D&D Beyond prior to the announcement. I would have gladly made an additional purchase through the D&D Beyond site, but cannot justify doing so after spending many, many hours inputting most of the Obojima materials as homebrew. I did so because I felt that we were led to believe that Obojima would specifically NOT be offered through D&D Beyond. I am glad others have easy access to Obojima through the site, but am disappointed to be missing out on the extra features.
